Your profile photo helps your team know who you are in Slack. And if your photo is clear, it’ll be easier for someone to pick you out in a crowd or a meeting!

Updating your Slack profile picture takes just a few steps:

On Desktop:

  1. Click your profile picture in the top right.
  2. Select Profile, then Edit Profile.
  3. Click Upload an Image, choose your file, and crop it.
  4. Save changes.

On Mobile (iOS/Android):

  1. Tap You at the bottom-right corner.
  2. Tap your profile picture, then Edit Profile.
  3. Upload a new photo from your phone gallery.
  4. Save changes.

On Android

  1. Tap your profile picture at the top of your screen.
  2. Tap View profile.
  3. Tap Edit Profile, then tap Edit Photo.
